As a provider of financial services to businesses and personal customers, we are also a member of the wider society in our markets. For us, this entails obligations to conduct business operations ethically and on socially responsible terms. We have made Corporate Citizenship an integral part of our operations throughout the Nordea Group.
We have signed several international agreements in the fields of ethically and socially responsible business. These, combined with our internal guidelines and initiatives, make up the foundation of our Corporate Social Responsibility approach.
Responsible customer relationships are also an important part of our business ethics. The Code of Conduct is our central guideline for the ethical conduct of our customer relations. The responsible management of customer relationships is a core value for us. We conduct customer satisfaction surveys in order to develop and ensure a great customer experience. Furthermore, in each Nordic country, we have a Customer Ombudsman, whose sole purpose is to resolve any customer complaints and in that way provide us with valuable insight into how we can develop our customer relationship management.
