Nordea was awarded the gold medal as the best Norwegian bank 2010 by Norsk Familieøkonomi, an organisation which compares prices and services in different industries.

Nordea awarded as the best in private banking
The international financial magazine Euromoney has awarded Nordea the prize for best private banking service provider in the Nordics. It is the third year running that Nordea gets a top ranking. Read the background and story.
Nordea awarded ‘Best Bank for Payments and Collections in Nordic region’
Nordea has been recognised as the best bank for payments and collections in the Nordic region in Global Finance Magazine’s annual Best Treasury and Cash Management Bank rankings.
Nordea funds awarded by Morningstar
For the second year in a row the Danish fund company Nordea Invest has in 2011 won the Morningstar award as best bond manager in Denmark – this time adding the title as the number one manager of Danish equities. In addition, Nordea Invest was awarded two other prizes at this year’s Morningstar Fund Awards in Denmark as the top performer in the categories short bonds and high yield-bonds.
Christian Clausen has been awarded two decorations, one from Denmark and one from Finland. Finnish President Tarja Halonen has awarded Clausen with the Commander of the Order of the Lion of Finland. In Denmark, he has been awarded the cross of the order of chivalry.
Nordea was named as the Best Foreign Exchange Provider in Finland by the Global Finance magazine.

Nordea's Sasja Beslik awarded for work with responsible investments
Sasja Beslik, head of responsible investments & governance at Nordea, has been awarded the title of Young Global Leader 2011 by the World Economic Forum.
Nordea is recognised as the Best Foreign Exchange Bank in Finland, by the Global Finance magazine.

Nordea nominated Best Bank in Finland
Nordea has been awarded the prize for the Best Bank in Finland by the magazine Global Finance.

Nordea best corporate bank in Denmark and Finland
Nordea won the category Best Bank in the corporate/institutional category in Denmark and Finland at the annual Euromoney Awards for Excellence Show in London.

The international finance magazine EMEA Finance appointed Nordea the best bank in Estonia in 2010.
July
Nordea Bank Polska was appointed Best Commercial Bank 2010 by Rzeczpospolita, the biggest daily newspaper in Poland
Awards granted by Gazeta Bankowa, a newspaper for the banking sector in Poland: Best Large Bank 2010 and, in addition, Bank Manager of the Year 2010: Wlodzimierz Kicinski, head of Nordea in Poland.

Nordea named the biggest and safest bank in the Nordic region once again
Every year the magazine Global Finance lists the world's 50 biggest and the world's 50 safest banks. In this year's listing Nordea is ranked 32nd biggest and 22nd safest, and is the highest ranking Nordic bank.

For the third straight year, the Financial Times magazine The Banker named Nordea bank of the year in Denmark.
