Facts (1 January 2011):

  • We are about 36,500 employees.
  • In 2010 we welcomed approximately 2,100 new colleagues (not including Poland, Russia and the Baltic countries).
  • All new employees participate in the Nordea Introduction Programme.
  • 3,800 employees changed to a new position within the Group during 2010.
  • The gender distribution is 61% female and 39% male. Among managers the distribution is 42% and 58% respectively.

Developing our employees

We offer a full range of professional leadership training programmes covering everything from potential managers to top executives. We also have special focus on the development of Graduates.

Facts (1 January 2011):

  • In 2010 approximately 60 graduates participated in the Nordea Graduate Programme.
  • Approximately 700 graduates have been recruited since 2000 and more than 85% still have a career in Nordea.
  • Nordea Graduate Programme aims at being one of the best on the market.
  • Both genders should be represented among the final three candidates when recruiting for managerial and executive positions.
