Read these terms carefully before you access the following web site (the "Site"). By accessing the Site you indicate that you agree with and are bound by the terms below. Individual documents and parts of the Site may include special terms to be applied in addition to these terms. The use of the Solo Service is governed by special service agreement terms.
The contents of this service and the Site are provided on an "as is", "as available" basis. The service provider does not make any warranties about the Site or its contents. The service provider reserves the right to update the Site and to discontinue access to the Site at any time. The service provider shall not be liable for any expenses, losses or damages arising out of the use of the Site even if the service provider or its representative had known about a defect in the service.

Restrictions on the use of the Site and on making binding transactions

Nordea may give advice concerning investments or taxation on the Site. Nordea shall not be liable for any loss or damage caused or action taken on ground of Nordea´s advice.
Treatment of personal data
Personal data which you provide when you fill in a form (eg a request for information or a subscription) on nordea.com, or which are otherwise registered in this connection are treated by the bank or by another company in the Nordea Group in connection with the preparation and administration of the relevant service.
Personal data can moreover form the basis of market and customer analysis, business follow-up, business and method development and risk management. Personal data are also used for marketing purposes unless you have declined receipt of direct marketing material. Personal data may also, within the framework of the current secrecy provisions, be accessed by another company in the Nordea Group or by another company with which the Group cooperates.
Nordea is the controller of the collected data and will not surrender the data to any third parties. Nordea may, however, use subcontractors in processing of the data. At the moment a US-based company, Webtrends, processes the collected data on behalf of Nordea. Webtrends is a global leader in web statistics collection and in order to secure privacy protection they comply with the European Commission’s Directive on Data Protection (October 1998) through the US-EU Safe Harbour programme.
Nordea may enlist the advice and services of other subcontractors which comply with the European Commission’s Directive on Data Protection (October 1998). Such agents may be used to assist Nordea with Customer service, marketing analysis or interaction with financial operators.
Nordea will not, in any way, allow such subcontractors to utilise the data for anything else than purposes defined by Nordea.
Information that Nordea’s customers submit by registering data in the private netbank can be used by Nordea for defined purposes eg analysis and marketing.
A cookie is a small text file which is stored on your hard disk by the website you visit. The text file contains information and is, among other things, used for supporting the visitor's use of the relevant website.

E-mail on the Internet
The users of the Site are reminded that the confidentiality of e-mail messages sent via public network cannot be guaranteed. The users shall avoid forwarding personal data or other confidential messages to Nordea via e-mail. Nordea or other service providers are not liable to carry out orders or instructions submitted via public e-mail. Nordea is entitled, if requested by the customer, to provide general information via e-mail to the e-mail address defined by the customer. Nordea shall not be liable for losses or damages occurred by any disappearance or transformation of such a message.
Copyright and trade marks
Companies belonging to Nordea Bank AB (publ) group or third parties, if expressly specified, retain the ownership, copyright (c) and all other immaterial rights of the Site. All rights are reserved in all countries. The publication, reproduction, transfer or storage of the contents of the Site in whole or in part is forbidden unless the holder of title, copyright, title or other immaterial right has granted permission for such an action. The prohibition does not apply to storage on a computer or printing for personal use only. The contents may be quoted according to the applicable copyright legislation. When the contents are quoted the source shall have to be indicated. The trade marks or logos included on the Site may, however, not be reproduced, published or distributed without Nordea's written permission.
Finnish, Swedish, Norwegian, Danish, Estonian, Latvian and Lithuanian law shall be applied to these terms and conditions, according to in which of the mentioned countries the customer enters the Site.
