Securities lending

Nordea offers securities lending services to clients wishing to benefit from new investment opportunities and improved settlement performance. The securities lending desks are situated in Oslo and Stockholm, while collateral management and settlements are carried out in Copenhagen, Helsinki, Oslo and Stockholm.

Currently we are active primarily in the Nordic markets covering Danish, Finnish, Norwegian and Swedish listed equities and fixed income instruments. We operate as a principal intermediary with a matched book, lending and borrowing securities against collateral. Automatic and opportunity borrowing and lending services are offered for Danish, Finnish and Swedish instruments. Opportunity borrowing and lending is offered for Norwegian instruments.

Our minimum collateral requirement is 105% of the market value of outstanding loans
