Commercial payments
Our large presence and substantial customer base in our home markets make us a logical point of entry for private individuals- and corporate customers. For instance, we offer MT1xx, including EU payments and cash letter service/cheques drawn on banks in our home markets.
Nordea has signed the Credeuro/interbank charging conventions and has a routing policy for commercial Euroland payments (pdf, 287 kb).

Clearing
We offer clearing services and F-2-F payments in our home currencies DKK, EUR, NOK, SEK, LTL, LVL and PLN.
Continuous Linked Settlement or CLS is about reducing F/X settlement risks by settling both currency legs of a trade simultaneously irrespective of time zone. Nordea supports the CLS initiative, is a shareholder and settlement member from the start. As the region's leading bank with solid deposit bases, Nordea acts as a liquidity provider to the CLS system in the three Scandinavian currencies. We provide CLS nostro services to other settlement members in these three currencies as well as CLS third party services to small banks and corporates.
