Corporate customers
We suggest that you start preparing for SEPA by reading these pages and other available information in order to familiarize yourself with the new situation. We offer the best possible support and you are always welcome to contact us with questions, comments, etc.
What companies should take into account
Companies should see the changes brought by SEPA as an opportunity to their business. A new, domestic-like payment area may have an impact on the cash management arrangements, such as account structures and payment flows.
Regardless of their size, companies should, as early as possible, prepare themselves for the future changes and start negotiations with their software suppliers regarding the SEPA effects on their own systems.
For shops, restaurants and other sales outlets, a specific challenge will be to renew the payment terminals to suit all cards accepted in the entire euro payments area.
Companies engaged in international trade must now use the mandatory International Bank Account Number (IBAN) and Bank Identifier Code (BIC). The company’s own IBAN and BIC must be given as the account data, and the IBAN and BIC of service providers and goods suppliers must be collected from the entire EU/EEA area.
