Participants must make sure that payment orders are valid instructions to Nordea in order to prevent fraud. It must be ensured that an authorised party gives instructions in such a way that it cannot subsequently be denied that the instructions were sent. Moreover, it must be ensured that the instructions cannot be changed or manipulated by anybody during transmission. To ensure that, transactions should be subject to integrity, origin authentication and non-repudiation of origin techniques.
