Nordea eID:
The best and most secure access to Corporate Netbank

All users of Corporate Netbank will be upgraded to the electronic card called Nordea eID in 2011 and 2012. After the upgrade it will no longer be possible to access the system with paper cards. 

Nordea eID brings various advantages to the customers from the beginning. For instance, there is no need to scratch the code cards anymore or worry about running out of codes in a critical moment. With Nordea eID card and card reader you get an efficient authentication solution that can be used on any PC that is supported by Corporate Netbank.

With or without cable: it’s your choice!
Since June 2011 CN customers have been able to use Nordea eID in two different ways: with or without cable.

• One of the benefits using the without-cable method is that you do not need to install any applications and it can be used on most computers.
• Nordea eID with cable requires installation and the benefit is a smoother process: all you need is one PIN code to confirm your actions. Which one to use is up to you. No matter which one you choose, the card and the card reader are the same.

The two methods are not depending on each other meaning that you can access Corporate Netbank even if one of the two login methods is not available for some reason.

Global furniture manufacturer Fritz Hansen A/S in Denmark took Nordea eID without cable into use last summer. Executive Vice President of Fritz Hansen A/S, Lars Torp Madsen, praises the easiness of taking the device into use and operating with it.
