Account opening

In accordance with the legal requirements in each Nordic market, a custody account is to be opened to support clearing, settlement and safekeeping of global securities. Each custody account must be linked to a Nordea cash account. The currency of the cash account may be the domestic currency of the client and in the local currency of the securities that are kept on the account

A custody account along with related cash accounts will be opened upon receipt of duly signed account opening documents. In addition, to be able to invest in some markets, specific documentation may be required.
