World's Best Trade Finance Provider 2009
Global Finance magazine has named the “Best Trade Finance Providers” by category in an exclusive survey to be published in the February 2009 issue.
Nordea was awarded “Best Trade Finance Providers” in both Finland and Denmark.
Global Finance editors — with input from industry analysts, corporate executives and technology experts — selected the best trade finance providers in 68 countries or regions. Criteria for choosing the winners included: transaction volume, scope of global coverage, customer service, competitive pricing and innovative technologies.
“Global trade is expected to decline in 2009 for the first time since 1982, but trade finance is booming, as exporters and importers seek to manage their risks more carefully,” says Joseph D. Giarraputo, publisher and president of Global Finance. “We have selected the banks that corporations can rely on for financing their global trade activities and providing other trade-related services.”
