About Nordea Case Competition

The Nordea Case Competition is a challenge tailor-made for ambitious master student from Danish business schools and universities.

In the beginning of November, 32 master students met at Nordea’s head office in Copenhagen for two days to apply their skills on a real-life business case.

We asked the students to come up with a strategy for how Nordea can maintain its strong position in today’s disruptive banking environment and  the case consisted of both strategic problem solving and number crunching. The competition started with presentations of key focus areas and case training by Nordea experts and senior management before the students worked all night long with solving the case.

Around noon the following day; each team presented their solutions to members of Nordea’s senior management. After assessment and feedback; the winning team consisting of Arun Pradhan, Jakob Brix, Kristoffer Strøberg and Thea Stensaker received a prize of DKK20.000.

The competition ended with a celebratory dinner for all participants and the two finalist-teams have also been invited to experience a unique day at Nordea, including lunch with senior management representatives.
