We are looking for summer associates to join Nordea Markets FFP programme 2016 in our Helsinki office.

The Future Finance Professional (FFP) programme gives you a unique experience and insight into the financial markets and us a chance to get to know you. You are assigned to a department within Nordea Capital Markets from May until September, and will take on challenging responsibilities, all in close contact with the fast-paced financial markets.

We are hiring talented people with great personalities who strive to exceed expectations and understand and commit to our customers’ needs. A successful candidate also has sound analytical and numerical skills combined with a keen interest in the financial markets and the ability to perform under pressure. We expect that you have advanced well in your studies and are approaching graduation. We encourage applications from individuals with diverse academic backgrounds.

Nordea Markets Division serves the major Nordic and international corporations and institutions as well as small and medium sized corporations and households. We help our customers manage their financial risks, reach their investment objectives and offer them access to e.g. the foreign exchange, bond, financial derivatives and equity markets. We also produce high quality economic research.

Financial & Risk Control (FRC) Division is responsible for supporting Markets’ business. We report to the management and other stakeholders by providing accurate and reliable daily risk and profit & loss information, and control market risk, counterparty risk and operational risk. FRC also has a central role in system and infrastructure development together with Nordea Markets.
