Last Wednesday we invited our Helsinki based graduates from the 2015 class to a breakfast seminar.
20 graduates, twelve females and eight males, from the capital area participated in the seminar. Purpose with the seminar was to introduce all the graduates for each other and to share information about their new employer.
The seminar was kicked off by a short presentation where everyone briefly shared their background and what their daily work looks like as graduates in Nordea's different business areas and functions.
After the introductions, a short workshop was held where graduates in small groups brainstormed and shared ideas regarding a specific topic. This time the assignment was to discuss ideas for a marketing campaign.
If you also want to start your career as a graduate at Nordea, read more about the programme and qualifications below (recruitment for positions located in Finland during 2016 will start in December).
A Master’s degree, maximum of two years’ post-academic work experience, excellent English language skills and high potential are graduate requirements at Nordea. Furthermore, you need to pass an ability test, where your numerical, verbal and inductive capabilities are tested.
In the 2015 group, the most common academic background is Master of Science, especially in economics or connected with economics but also Master of Business Law/Business Administration and Master of Technology are common. All in all, most graduates have a MSc in Economics, Finance or Mathematics.
