You and your team will present a solution to a real-life business case to Nordea’s senior management and experts, who will assess your work and provide valuable feedback. The case is related to an important topic, affecting not only Nordea but also businesses in general. The case involves strategic problem solving and number crunching, making it relevant for a broad range of master students. Our People organisation (HR) will also be present to talk about career opportunities and Nordea Graduate Programme.
And if I win?
The winning team takes home the prize of EUR 1,600
The Nordea Case Competition is for master students from universities and business schools in one of the four Nordic countries: Denmark, Sweden, Finland, Norway and Poland.
The Nordea Case Competition (semi-final and final) will take place on 6-7 November 2018 at Nordea’s Headquarters in Copenhagen.
On the first day, you will be introduced to Nordea, receive tips and tricks on how to solve the case, you’ll be divided in to a team, get to know your team members (team-building exercise) and be presented with this year’s case topic by Nordea experts. You will work throughout the day in your teams and therefore all meals will be provided during the whole event. On the second day you will prepare a presentation where you will present the solution to the jury. The jury will select the finalists and on the second round a winning team will be chosen. Concluding, we will celebrate the end of the event with an informal cocktail hour where you can mix and mingle with Nordea management, People (HR) and your fellow competitors.
Nordea will cover the transportation and hotel costs for participants living outside of Copenhagen. For those living in Copenhagen, hotel costs will be covered.
