Assistant Controller in Financial & Risk Control, Helsinki or Copenhagen

We are looking for an Assistant Controller to join our PL and Balance Sheet Control unit. The role is Part-time permanent (Helsinki) or Student (Copenhagen).  
This is an opportunity for you to learn about financial markets, P&L reporting, analysis and explain, as well as developing technical capabilities through work assignments. In addition you will work in agile development projects aiming at meeting the future requirements in our control and analysis area.

Your future responsibilities

You’ll join PL & Balance Sheet Control unit, and namely Processes & Improvements team, which is part of Global FRIC organisation. Our responsibilities include P&L and balance sheet control and reporting, explain and analysis of the P&L, and also embedding development of the forementioned.  
As an assistant controller in P&I-team you will work within a team that has a dual responsibility i.e. being the owner of the suite of consolidated P&L reports produced by PL and Balance Sheet Control; as well as Optimising the P&L production processes through immediate solutions and long term projects.  
What you’ll be doing:
  • Develop processes and create technical solutions supporting the whole unit  
  • Controlling areas related to the teams responsibilities 
  • Reporting of consolidated PL figures 
The role is based in Helsinki or Copenhagen. We have a high performing diverse team of 9 people located in Helsinki, Copenhagen and Stockholm with various backgrounds and skills.

  • Some technical IT skills or willingness to accumulate these skills
