Interested in pursuing a career in investment banking? We are seeking dedicated and top performing Analysts to join our M&A and ECM Advisory team in Copenhagen in 2021.

About this opportunity

Nordea Investment Banking offers you the opportunity to join the leading Advisory team in the Nordics. You will work with some of the most experienced investment bankers and will be an integral part of deal teams that work closely with clients ranging from medium to the largest sized Danish and Nordic companies and private equity players.

As part of our team you will be exposed to all key disciplines within investment banking including mergers and acquisitions (M&A), initial public offerings (IPOs) and other equity offerings (ECM). You will also be working closely with colleagues from other teams within the Investment Bank and gain valuable knowledge of products including Leveraged Finance and Debt Capital Markets.

We expect you to be top of your class with strong numerical and analytical skills. In addition to your technical capabilities, you have commercial insight, a nag for strategic perspectives and are able to work under pressure and produce high quality work within tight deadlines. Finally, excellent communication and presentation skills and a high degree of literacy in Danish and English are essential.

We expect you to be in the final year of your Master’s studies, preferably in Finance or Economics, however; we are always open to applicants possessing strong academic skills with alternative backgrounds and Master’s degrees.
