The yearly Nordic Prospera survey now ranks Nordea Equities as number one in the Nordics.

After last year´s number two rank Nordea Equities now grabs the overall number one position and is also ranked number one in all three subcategories: Research/Advisory, Execution and Corporate Access.

With a 16 per cent overall market share in Nordic cash equities commissions Nordea is now ranked the largest brokerage house in the Nordics for the first time. The top five brokerage houses overall within equities in the Nordics are now, in the following order: Nordea Markets, SEB, Carnegie, Danske Bank and Handelsbanken.

- We are very humble about this number one position since we know how fierce this competitive landscape is and will be over the coming years, but it is obviously a very encouraging result where we get confirmation from our customers that our services are in line with the expectations of a clear leader in this segment, says Martin Persson, who is co-head of Global Equities.
