In less than three months, Nordea’s customers across the Nordics have logged in to the Mobile Bank more than 10 million times simply by scanning their fingerprints.
In Mid-December, Nordea launched a feature which allows customers using an iPhone with Touch ID capability to log in to Nordea’s Mobile Bank quickly and easily. This feature has turned out to be very popular among the customers who have used it more than 10 million times during the first three months alone.
By logging in with Touch ID, customers can quickly get an overview of their finances, see account activities and transfer money between their own accounts.
Touch ID is one of many new features Nordea has introduced to its customer lately. Another function is Shake-to-logout, which has been used almost 2 million times – corresponding to 40 days of non-stop shaking.
On average each customer uses the app 20 times a month.
