Randi Marjamaa new CEO of Nordea Life & Pensions in Norway

23-06-16 10:06 | About Nordea | Meet a Nordea profile Nordea has appointed Randi Marjamaa as new CEO of its Norwegian life & pensions company Nordea Liv. Randi Marjamaa, 40, comes from the position in Nordea as deputy head of Banking Norway.
She succeeds Jørund Vandvik, 60, who will retire after 18 years heading the company.
-I am looking forward to work with Nordea Liv, continuing our dedication to serve our customers’ needs and demands for life- and pensions savings, says Randi Marjamaa.
Randi Marjamaa starts in her new position 1 October. She has held various management positions within Nordea since 2006. She holds a Master of Science in Economics and Business Administration from Norges Handelshøyskole in Bergen.
-After 18 years at the helm of a business that have passed NOK 100 billion in Assets under Management, it feels right and natural to pass the torch, says Jørund Vandvik.
