Nordea Asset Management is actively engaging in research regarding climate change and the impact on investments. We therefore welcomed the opportunity to sit down with James Leaton, Research Director at Carbon Tracker, to discuss their latest publication, in connection with the recent Norsif event in Oslo.
Carbon Tracker is a UK-based think tank, and has been instrumental in putting the terms ‘carbon bubble’ and ‘stranded assets’ on the financial agenda and into everyday conversations. As a response to investor requests, their new work on the oil industry has direct, practical implications, and is thus an important input in moving the fossil fuel conversation along.
As part of a nuanced debate, we encourage you to read the Carbon Tracker report here.
