Nordea welcomes the adoption of a new, universal climate agreement at COP 21 in Paris, which is a critical step on the path to solving climate change. By signing the pledge Nordea shows its support to ensuring that the level of ambition set by the agreement is met or exceeded.
- Climate change is one of the biggest challenges of our time. A universal climate agreement is very important and it requires action, both from public and private side. Nordea wants to do its part. As a bank we realise the importance of taking environmental, social and governance factors into consideration when making business decisions, says Gunn Wærsted, Head of Wealth Management and Chairman of Nordea’s CSR Committee.
