Moderator Alasdair Ross

Alasdair Ross, Countries Editor of The Economist World Ahead, will moderate the Nordea Sustainability Summit global square dialogues. ​He is an expert in global affairs, economics, business strategy and industry trends. ​Alasdair works as an independent consultant, including for the World Bank Group and Economist Intelligence Unit, moderator and writer.

Mads Nipper 

Mads Nipper is CEO of Ørsted since January 2021. From 2014 to 2020, he was President and CEO of Grundfos, where he played a key part in turning around the business, and shaped the company’s digital transformation journey. Prior to Grundfos, he held several management positions at Lego for 23 years. Mads is Vice Chairman of the Confederation of Danish Industries and as Danish representative in the Business and Sustainable Development Commission, he contributed to United Nations’ conversion of the 17 SDGs into business goals. He has given speeches at the United Nations in New York, and at the Time/Fortune Global Forum in Rome concerning the UN’s SDG 6 and 13, ‘clean water and sanitation’ and ‘climate action’, in particular.

Lise Kingo

Lise Kingo is currently Independent Board Director at Sanofi, Covestro and Aker Horizons. She is also Chairperson of the Advisory Board of the Blueprint for Denmark Initiative, and member of the Advisory Board at the Novo Nordisk Foundation. She is a Board Member of the Nordic Boards Impact Forum. Lise was previously CEO & Executive Director of the UN Global Compact, the world’s largest corporate sustainability initiative uniting businesses to create a better world through the UN Sustainable Development Goals.

Harald Mix

Harald Mix is a Swedish investor, is chairman of Vargas Holding, an investment firm through which he aims to radically reinvent industries for a zero-carbon future. He is also founder and partner of Altor Equity Partners, chairman of H2 Green Steel and sits on the board of 7 companies, including Carnegie Investment Bank, CARNEO, and Kinnevik. Harald was previously deputy CEO and founder of Industri Kapital. Harald has a Bachelor’s degree from Brown University and an MBA from Harvard University.

Minna Aila

Ms Minna Aila (b. 1966), Master of Laws, has 20 years of experience in global B2B technology companies in different sectors and ten years of public sector service at the European Commission before her business career. She is currently Senior Vice President, Sustainability and Corporate Affairs at Neste Corporation. She is also a member of the Board of Directors of

DFDS A/S. Ms Aila has previously held senior leadership positions in listed global companies such as Nokia, Konecranes, Outotec and Elcoteq, where her responsibilities have included

Sir Lt Gen Graeme Lamb

Lieutenant General Sir Graeme Lamb KBE, CMG, DSO is the former Director of UK Special Forces and former Commander of the British Field Army at Land Command, known for his contributions to counter-insurgency. He is also a Senior Fellow at Yale’s Jackson Institute for Global Affairs, special Adviser to the Good Governance Group, Chairperson of the Advisory Council to C5 investments, and advises large organisations on strategy with Skarbek Associates. Graeme is a regular media commentator on military and geo-political issues. He is a powerful speaker who uses life experiences to give unique insights on leadership.
