Sustainability at the Nordea Campus
The Nordea Campus has been developed in line with strict sustainability criteria. All real estate development is guided by ESG principles. The new building has been constructed to the LEED Platinum standard – the highest level of green building certification.
Recycling and energy efficiency are core values. The building features a 400-metre -deep geothermal well, which supplies up to 80% of its heating needs, along with solar panels to support renewable energy use.
With its LEED Platinum certification, it is also the first office building in the Helsinki city centre to use geothermal energy – a significant milestone in sustainable urban development.
