Bachelor of financial management and services

Every year we look for candidates for internships starting in August. On these pages we have gathered information about the internship and your further career with us.

We look for interns with a view to permanent employment – if we’re the right match for each other.

Internship – personal or corporate

As a bachelor of financial management and services you can do your internship at a branch for personal or corporate customers or at one of our agricultural centres. Here you will have the opportunity to participate in the everyday work tasks of personal banking advisers, relationship managers or agribusiness advisers.

No matter which path you choose, you will experience busy and exciting working days where you learn more about how an adviser works. You will participate in customer meetings as well as in the preparation and follow-up on the meetings. This is where you get to use the tools you’ve learnt during your studies in practice – and we will of course be there to help you.

You will meet the customers when they need help or advice on their banking business. You will learn about how to identify customer needs and provide advice on Nordea’s products in the areas of housing, pensions, investment and credit processing.

During your internship you will also get inspiration and sparring on your bachelor project.

We expect you to be proactive and take responsibility for your own development. If you’re the right candidate, you will experience an internship and subsequent student job and trainee programme with lots of responsibility.

During the internship we expect you to:

  • try out a busy everyday work life at a branch office for personal or corporate customers
  • become part of our team – and live our values
  • translate theory into practice
  • test your ability in terms of the competencies that we need our future advisers to have
  • assume responsibility to the extent that you’re willing and able
  • decide whether we’re a match – and we will do the same.

A mentor will be assigned to you during the internship and you will find that great emphasis is placed on feedback and your development. In addition, you will participate in a joint intro day with other interns and have the opportunity for sparring in connection with your bachelor project.
