Trainee Partnership with Thommessen
In collaboration with the law firm Thommessen, Nordea Group Legal Norway offers an exclusive trainee programme to Law students that have finished 3 years of Law study. During their traineeship, the trainees are closely guided by a dedicated mentor. They get the opportunity to work with a wide range of cases within banking and finance; from financing and restructuring to privacy and anti-money laundering. Nordea’s legal department consists of approximately 240 employees in four Nordic countries and Poland, of which 40 are located in Norway. We also have lawyers working in New York. Working in Group Legal
Group Legal supports Nordea with a wide range of legal questions that arise from the bank’ activities, including questions regarding transactions, regulatory implementation, customer follow-up as well as new products and digital solutions. We work closely with our foreign colleagues and manage transactions and legal issues on a cross-border basis. As an employee in Group Legal, you actively contribute to further developing Nordea in an industry that is experiencing significant and exciting changes. We also have our own talent programme where we focus on strengthening our skills in order to be successful as in-house lawyers as well as in managerial positions.
