QOCO is a Finnish SaaS company focused on the digitalisation and efficiency of aircraft maintenance. With QOCO's products, aviation industry operators save significant time and money, while raising aviation safety. The products are currently used by around 40 leading airlines and engine manufacturers.

QOCO will participate in Slush in November, through which the company hopes to find more potential partners. At Slush, investors and growth companies will once again meet for speed dating, enabled by Nordea.

"At Nordea Investor Speed Dating, our goal is to meet interesting people who would also be potential investors in the future. Expectations for the event are high, as the year has been amazing for QOCO in many ways. We also want to end the year on a high note," says Matti Nevala, CEO of QOCO.

QOCO is also the winner of this year's Superfinns programme. Superfinns is a mentoring programme for scalable Finnish growth companies that have the potential to conquer international markets.

"Success stories are built in cooperation with people. The Superfinns programme provided an opportunity to spar and discuss with experts from different fields. It was obvious for us to apply. At the same time, it made us think about our own operations from different perspectives," Nevala says.

Nordea's and Kasvu Open's Superfinns programme brought visibility to the company and desired recognition for its successful work.

"Prior winning Superfinns, QOCO had hardly been visible in the media or received recognition for its activities in its 15-year history. This victory is confirmation that we are on the right path towards an international success story. It gave us more confidence and rewarded our hard work," Nevala says.

And what advice would the Superfinns winner give to those who are still thinking about applying?

"Always be open to sparring and speak with a third party, even if the business is doing well. Someone else may have knowledge that the company does not have yet. By participating, you can also get your pitch in order.”

The largest global event for growth companies, Slush, will be held this year on 20.–21.11. in Helsinki.
