Nordea Business Banking has Sweden’s most satisfied customers
Today Kantar Sifo Prospera presents its industry survey of Mid Corporate Banking. Nordea Business Banking Sweden is ranked best-in-class in many of the rated categories and consequently secures first place.
Peter Dalmalm, head of Business Banking, Sweden.
The result is based on feedback from 229 companies and builds on interviews with mainly CFOs, heads of treasury and CEOs of medium-sized companies with a turnover between 1 and 7.5 billion Swedish kronor.
- I’m so proud that Nordea Business Banking got the top ranking in the Prospera survey this year. This is the result of the long-term plan and ambition that we set for Business Banking in 2018. The whole team is doing a marvellous job, from our advisers at the branches to our product team specialists, support functions and the other business areas, says Peter Dalmalm, Head of Business Banking Sweden.

Nordea is in first place with a rating of 4.09. Nordea is going from strength to strength with a positive trend over the past three years.
Best in no less than five categories
Customers rate the banks in ten different categories, where Business Banking takes first place in five categories: Level of service, access to specialists, strategic advice, proactive and senior management attention.
- It is important that we understand our customers’ business, and that we can advise them on what is specifically needed for just their company and industry. We didn’t get this top ranking because of selective efforts. Rather it’s evidence of our continuous efforts to be responsive and proactive, which customer feedback in the survey clearly shows, says Peter Dalmalm.

The adviser relationship is important when customers evaluate their bank, especially in times like these when we have a general worry about the state of the economy. We are pleased to note that Nordea is rated at the top on many of the parameters which specifically measure the adviser, their competence and the personal contact.
- I’m very grateful for the confidence our customers have in us, which is proof of our strength as a long-term financial partner. This ranking will spur us on. We will continue to push forward and identify the small things that make a difference to our customers, concludes Peter Dalmalm.
