At Nordea, creating a great workplace is about giving people the right conditions to develop, contribute, and succeed. Strong leadership, opportunities to learn and an environment where people feel supported are important parts of that experience.
For us, the recognition reflects ongoing work to strengthen the employee experience.
"Top Employer is a fantastic achievement and, above all, a recognition of our people. It reflects the culture and workplace we are building together. Thank you to everyone who contributes to making Nordea a place where people can thrive," says Michał Wiznerowicz, Head of People for Poland at Nordea.
Nordea Poland achieved an overall score of 90.21% in this year’s assessment, up from 87.08% in 2025 and above the benchmark for certified employers in Poland. One of the strongest areas of progress was learning and development, alongside strong results in leadership, digital HR and the work environment.
Recognition is an important milestone, but also an opportunity to keep developing.
“We are proud of this recognition, but most importantly, of the workplace our colleagues help create every day. We will continue to learn and improve, creating an environment where people can grow and succeed together,” says Michał Wiznerowicz.
The Top Employers Institute certification is based on a detailed questionnaire, documented evidence, an independent audit and a validation process. Employers are assessed against the same framework across areas such as people strategy, work environment, talent acquisition, learning, wellbeing and employee listening. In 2026, 72 companies in Poland received the certification, including 12 from the banking sector.
