The name change is made pursuant to an amendment to Section 2-2, fifteenth paragraph of the Norwegian Business Enterprises Names Act, which requires Norwegian-registered foreign enterprises to use the official name of the principal undertaking in its home jurisdiction, supplemented by the designation “NUF”.

The name change is of a purely formal nature and applies solely to the registered business name of the Norwegian branch. The organization number remains unchanged.

The change will have no impact on you as a customer or on any existing agreements with the Bank.
