For the fifth year
Frank Vang-Jensen is the fifth recipient of the award, which recognises leaders who have been particularly successful in driving transformation in companies based in Finland. Last year’s Transformation Leader of the Year was Heikki Malinen, the CEO of Outokumpu, the global stainless steel manufacturer.
In the process of selecting the Transformation Leader of the Year, Jorma Eloranta, Board professional, Antti Viljakainen, Chief Analyst at Inderes, and Teemu Ruska and Mikko Tynkkynen, partners at BCG Helsinki, analysed the performance of companies operating in Finland under the current CEO and during recent years.
The jury analyzed Finnish companies that have generated the best value for shareholders (revenue over EUR 500 million). The jury selected the winner from among the best value-generating companies based on the company’s success, especially in relation to Nordic and international companies in the same industry, the changes that have been made behind the success and the role of the leader in the process of change.
