Figure Baltic Advisory is a leading labour market research and consulting agency in the Baltics. Each year, it conducts a survey of large companies in Estonia to promote a more transparent and fair world of work. At the annual seminar in Tallinn, 500 organisations across Estonia were invited to gain insight into the overall trends and results from the survey.

Tiina Käsi, Country Senior Executive of Nordea Estonia.

Nordea was invited to the stage alongside four other Estonian companies and was recognised as one of the top five large employers in Estonia for our commitment to fair and equal pay. The Equal Pay Title is awarded to organisations that show their dedication to equality and responsible employment practices by ensuring fair and equal pay for all employees.

“This is a proud moment and a shared achievement by our Group People team and all leaders involved in pay decisions. This recognition isn’t just a label, it’s a reflection of who we are. It signals to our employees and the wider labour market in Estonia that Nordea is a responsible and equitable payer of wages,” says Tiina Käsi, Country Senior Executive of Nordea Estonia and adds:

“It sends a clear message that equality isn’t just a value we talk about, it’s the one we live by. We do our utmost to follow best practices in ensuring equal pay for equal work, regardless of gender.”

Our Country Reward Partner, Külli Meier, accepted the acknowledgement on behalf of Nordea in Estonia.

Pay equity at Nordea

At Nordea, we are committed to ensuring fair and equal pay for all employees. Gender pay gaps are regularly reviewed and addressed, supporting progress towards pay equity across the Group. Our ambition is to close the pay gap between women and men in equivalent roles by the end of 2026. In 2024, the pay gap decreased to approximately 1.75%.
