The green option is offered for both private and corporate customers in need of financing of one or more cars that run on 100% electricity.
There is an interest discount on car loans that is 100% driven with electricity. The entire chain of the financing solution is green since the underlying refinancing is green; that is to say Nordea uses green market funding, the proceeds of which are earmarked for lending to finance electric cars.
By launching green car financing, Nordea takes the lead among Swedish banks by making available a 100% green value chain in the financing of a car purchase while at the same time offering attractive commercial terms to the customer. We believe that the demand for electric cars will soar in the years to come. According to some forecasts, electric cars will be the customer’s primary choice by 2030 and Nordea is keen on being able to offer our customers an attractive financing solution.
