Nordic Fintech Week brings together financial institutions, fintechs, investors and industry experts from across the Nordics and beyond. Last year, Nordea contributed actively throughout the event, with speakers, panel discussions and roundtables covering topics such as AI, digital wealth and financial health. We also sponsored the Nordic Fintech Awards, recognising companies that are moving financial services forward with new ideas and solutions.
For Nordea, the continued partnership reflects a broader commitment to collaboration across the financial ecosystem. Working closely with fintech partners makes it possible to combine different strengths and accelerate development in areas that matter to customers.
“As the largest bank in the Nordics, having supported the Nordic economies for more than 200 years, we have a responsibility to be an active part of the fintech ecosystem. By working closely with fintech partners, we can combine our scale, trustworthiness and technological capabilities with their speed and specialised expertise. This helps us accelerate innovation, bring new solutions to customers faster and ensure that strong ideas can be scaled and used to create real impact across the Nordics,” says Malthe Falck, Head of Group Digital.
Nordea will also continue sponsoring the Nordic Fintech Awards in 2026. The Awards recognise startups and scaleups that are redefining financial services across four categories: AI, New Entry, Growth and Impact.
“The Nordic Fintech Awards are a great way to highlight the innovation happening across the region. It’s always inspiring to see the quality of the ideas and talent coming through, and we’re excited to be part of that again this year,” Malthe Falck concludes.
Nominations for the Nordic Fintech Awards 2026 are open until 29 May. Submit your nomination here.
