Wellbeing as a year-round focus
For Nordea in Estonia, the recognition reflects years of work to make wellbeing an integral part of everyday life at the office in Tallinn.
"Our goal has never been to introduce wellbeing as a separate initiative. We want it to be a natural part of how we lead, collaborate and support one another every day," says Tiina Käsi, Country Senior Executive, Nordea in Estonia.
Mental wellbeing is supported through leadership development, wellbeing initiatives, wellbeing ambassadors, open conversations and a strong focus on psychological safety. Regular one-to-one conversations and employee feedback through People Pulse surveys help ensure that wellbeing remains an ongoing priority.
Throughout the year, employees have access to wellbeing-related learning opportunities, seminars and discussions covering topics such as resilience, stress management and mental health awareness.
"Mental wellbeing is not only important for individuals. It also strengthens our teams, our workplace culture and our ability to serve customers. When people feel supported, they are more likely to learn, develop and succeed together," says Tiina Käsi.
