Nordea has won the #1 ranking in the 2025 Prospera survey for large corporate banking in Norway, a key industry benchmark for customer satisfaction and service quality.

Morten Ristvedt, Head of Large Corporates & Institutions Norway, welcomed the news: “This feedback is particularly gratifying as it comes directly from our customers. Norway is a key focus area for Nordea in our new strategy, and we have ambitious growth plans here. This ranking confirms that our customers experience our offering as leading in the market.”

The annual survey, conducted by analysis firm Kantar, asks customers to rate banks on various criteria using a scale from 1 to 5. Nordea topped the list with an average score of 4.46 – the highest score we’ve ever received in this survey in Norway.

Ristvedt elaborated on Nordea’s strategy: “We’re focusing on increased activity, enhanced presence and improved customer service and engagement. Our goal is to empower customers to think bigger and take their next step forward. As the largest financial services group in the Nordic region, we’re uniquely positioned to support this.”

Nordea’s Large Corporates & Institutions division in Norway has consistently scored well in this survey in recent years, ranking second in 2024. This year’s improvement is attributed to high scores across multiple criteria, with particular strengths in quick decision-making, professional competence and customer relationships.

“These are areas where we can truly make a difference and where our customers have high expectations of us as their banking partner,” Ristvedt noted. “Our ambition is to build on this positive momentum, continue to improve and take further steps to grow in the Norwegian market.”

Morten Ristvedt, Head of Large Corporates & Institutions Norway, welcomed the outcome of the ranking. He believes much of the success lies in the value proposition that the largest financial services group in the Nordics offers its customers.
