Nordea partners with Nordic Fintech Week 2025 to spotlight innovation in financial technology

Nordea is proud to partner with Nordic Fintech Week 2025, taking place on September 24–25 in Copenhagen. The event will once again provide valuable platforms for discussions, expert panels, and industry advancements.

This year, we're proud to be the official partner and sponsor of the Nordic Fintech Awards 2025, a recognition of excellence in financial technology.

The awards shine a light on the most innovative and impactful fintech companies in the Nordics, from early-stage disruptors to scaling growth ventures.

“Supporting promising fintech initiatives is important for the industry. Our position in the ecosystem goes beyond being a financial partner – we're also a significant technology hub. With thousands of applications, open banking solutions and in-house fintech developments, we benefit from collaboration with innovators outside of Nordea," says Malthe Falck, Head of One Digital.

The Nordic Fintech Awards will be presented on September 24th, following a careful selection process where an independent jury of experts will identify 20 nominees and select 8 finalists. Finalists will be chosen across four categories: AI, New Entry, Growth, and Impact, with one winner selected per category.

"We're proud to support the Nordic Fintech Awards for 2025. We look forward to learning more about the finalists and their growth plans for the coming years. This recognition can provide meaningful momentum for their development." Malthe Falck adds.

Throughout Nordic Fintech Week, several Nordea experts will take the stage to contribute to key conversations shaping the future of finance. The full program will be announced soon. 

The Nordic Fintech week 24-25 September

The Nordic Fintech Week have been an event in Denmark since 2016, first called Copenhagen Fintech week. The broader scope started from 2022 since Copenhagen Fintech Lab saw: "the need for the Nordic financial sector to come together, connect, and exchange knowledge to strengthen the ecosystem and put Nordic fintech on the global radar." 

During the event it's expected that over 2,000 attendees, 225 speakers and over 200 fintechs will meet and greet in Copenhagen.
