Banks and financial institutions often get compared and tested on different parameters like customer segments, customer experiences or product offering. As a large employer we are also often included in company rankings. We have collected some examples of our latest awards and recognitions.
In a new report the ESG research firm Morningstar Sustainalytics highlighted Nordea as a sector leader for our significant progress in reducing emissions and comprehensive climate targets.
Nordea won the #1 ranking in the 2025 Prospera survey for large corporate banking in Norway, a key industry benchmark for customer satisfaction and service quality.
Financial Times’ PWM Global Private Banking awarded us the ‘Best Private Bank in the Nordics’ as well as in Norway and in Finland. We also received strong recognition in both Denmark and Sweden where we are ‘Highly Commended’.
Our digital solutions were recognised at Global Finance’s World’s Best Digital Bank Awards. For personal banking, our online and mobile bank were awarded with Best Consumer Digital Bank, Best Mobile Banking App, Best Online Product Offerings, and Best User Experience Design.
We were awarded at Euromoney’s Awards for Excellence 2025 as the Best Digital Bank in the Nordics, Best Digital Bank in Denmark, and Best Digital Bank in Finland. The assessment covered both personal and small and medium size companies (SME) digital channels.
"Playing a more central role in customers' lives is part of the bank's philosophy," said the jury when we were named Best Private Bank in the Nordics for Digital Customer Experience at Financial Times’ PWM Wealth Tech Awards.
In spring we came in as one of the ten most attractive employers among business students in Finland and Sweden. according to the Universum ranking which is published annually in over 20 countries
Nordea in Estonia climbed the rankings to become the sixth Top Employer in the finance sector in a survey conducted by the Estonian job portal CV.ee
It was the third consecutive year that we earned this distinction, placing us among the top 15% of the world’s most sustainable banks.
Nordea was recognised as a Top Employer in Poland by the Top Employer Institute, a leading global authority on HR strategies.
Nordea's commitment to sustainable finance earned significant recognition with eight awards in Global Finance's 2025 Sustainable Finance Awards, including top rankings in global, regional and country categories.
