(NO #3) Our interns in Norway surely know their way around our trading floor in Oslo, where they’ve become familiar faces after their internship in Markets, Large Corporates & Institutions (LC&I) Norway. It’s been a pleasure to have the students joining us during summer, where they've rotated between team desks, gained solid hands-on experience and insight into the financial markets, and the various business areas and career opportunities.

Based in Copenhagen, Amalie Ernstsen, who is an economics graduate from the University of Copenhagen, joined Nordea in January 2023 as an analyst in LC&I Denmark. She has just returned from working six months as part of the Corporate Banking team at the Nordea New York branch.

Buy, Hold or Sell! Eventful weeks with trying tasks and tight deadlines – fulfilling and fun
(SE #2) Halfway through their internship, the students’ acquired learning is being put to the test with real-life case assignments and tight deadlines. It’s been some busy, and on occasions, hectic days, cracking cases, building interest rate hedging models, performing equity analysis, doing pitches and number crunching tasks. Not to mention the hurdles and aching sprints – and soothing sunbathing on the rooftop terrace.

That’s a few of many queries that one of our talented interns, Santtu, aspired to explore and learn about when joining our Future Finance Professional programme. Four months into the internship, he’s found answers through hands-on experience, surrounded by “the best analysts”.
