My name is Paul Prax, a Stockholm University graduate based in Sweden. After completing my MSc in Strategic Information Systems Management, I joined Nordea's Graduate Programme in September 2024. When I'm not at work, you'll likely find me running through Stockholm's streets , my favorite way to decompress.

While writing my Master's thesis, I was drawn to the technology stream of Nordea's program. I've always been passionate about product management but didn't want to limit myself too early. The program offered the perfect solution: exploration before specialisation.

As a Technology Graduate, I've rotated across Nordea's technology landscape to find my path. What makes this program unique is its flexibility – nothing is set in stone, and you're encouraged to chart your own course. Initially, the possibilities felt overwhelming. Where should I start?

Nordea's mentoring culture made all the difference. With my mentor's guidance, we shaped a journey aligned with my goals. My first rotation in BI Analytics taught me solution development and stakeholder management through creating data models and PowerBI dashboards. My second rotation in Quality Assurance provided valuable insights into testing, while I pursued my interest in customer-impacting solutions.

A highlight was our Graduate Summit in May 2025, where collaborating with graduates from different backgrounds on a challenging case study proved to be incredibly valuable.

Now in my final rotation with Consumer Cards Sweden, I'm gaining hands-on product management experience, combining technology and business to serve customers effectively. Being close to the business makes the rotation dynamic and impactful, as I can directly see how the work impacts our customers.

This journey resembles long-distance running, not about sprinting to the finish but pacing myself and learning step by step. The people I've met have made this journey both easier and more fulfilling. I'm now confident about my direction and excited about future opportunities.

If you're curious, open to challenges, and eager to grow both professionally and personally, the Graduate Programme is an excellent launchpad.
