From theory to real-world impact: hear Milla and Tuukka share their fulfilling journeys as FFP interns
(FFP video) What is it like to start your career on a fast-paced trading floor? Future Finance Professionals (FFPs) Milla and Tuukka share how real responsibility, continuous learning and supportive colleagues have helped them grow and develop new skills from day one.
Working in Fixed Income Sales and FX Sales, Milla and Tuukka spend their days supporting customers, responding to market developments - solving real business challenges. Alongside their daily work, they also contribute to FFP projects focused on topics such as customer behaviour, automation and artificial intelligence.
With backgrounds in mathematics and finance, both interns have quickly discovered that some of the most valuable learning happens outside the classroom. Exciting customer cases, new responsibilities and collaboration with experienced colleagues help them develop both technical expertise and confidence.

Beyond the work itself, both highlight the people as one of the best parts of the programme. The supportive atmosphere, low hierarchy and community of fellow FFPs have made learning easier and the experience more rewarding.
