The CSR Index is compiled by the Responsible Business Forum (KELL), which is a non-profit organisation dedicated to promoting CSR in Estonia. KELL serves as a hub for building competencies and fostering dialogue about sustainable and responsible business practices.
This year, Nordea in Estonia was one of 26 companies to be awarded gold level. To qualify, Nordea Estonia filled out an index questionnaire that assesses how well we consider the social and environmental impact of our activities at management level and how successfully these topics are integrated into our strategic decisions.
Nordea Estonia received the award at an event held in Tallinn in early June, where the Estonian Minister of Economic Affairs and Industry, Erkki Keldo, also participated to give his perspective on why it’s crucial to be a responsible business in today’s economic landscape.
“The recognition reflects our ongoing efforts to integrate sustainability into everything we do – from reducing our environmental footprint and fostering a positive workplace to upholding strong governance and ethical practices,” says Tiina Käsi, Country Senior Executive of Nordea Estonia and continues:
“The gold level is not just a recognition of Nordea’s ambition and leadership efforts – it’s a celebration of the collective actions and mindset of every employee who contributes to our culture of responsibility and excellence.”
