Sara Nylund, Scalable Sales & Concepts
I learned about the FFP programme when I was working in Nordea’s customer service a few years ago. As a finance student, the internship seemed like a great opportunity, so I decided to apply – and I’m glad I did. After a summer full of learning and great experiences, I can definitely say it’s worth a shot.
One of the best parts of working on the trading floor is the atmosphere. I work in an awesome team, and we have so much fun together every day. The FFP internship has been a fantastic learning experience. Furthermore, it has been a great opportunity to network with like-minded people from all different academic backgrounds.
If you're considering applying to the FFP programme, my advice is to be yourself and show your genuine interest. The traineeship is a great opportunity to learn, grow, and have fun.

When I first applied to the FFP programme, I was drawn to the interesting job descriptions and the opportunity to work with some of the best professionals in the field. The internship seemed like the perfect way to learn about the financial markets, and it has certainly lived up to my expectations.
The ever-changing markets and the global events happening, keep my work tasks interesting day after day. The role has taught me loads of new things, among other things, improved my presentation skills and strengthened the confidence in myself.
The atmosphere of the trading floor has surprised me for the better. The low hierarchy and open communication make it easy to approach anyone for help or advice regardless of the team they work for.
My advice to students who are interested in joining the FFP programme is to read up on the various role descriptions and dive into the FFP blogs and vlogs, to get a feeling of what it’s like to work in on a fast-paced environment on the trading floor. If you’re hesitating – just go for it, and apply – you won't regret it!
