In the 2025 results published by CV.ee, Estonia’s leading job portal, Nordea achieved a strong 7th place in the Top Employer – Finance category and 8th place in Top Employer – Top of Mind category. This recognition reflects a long-term commitment to investing in people and building a strong workplace, which has helped position Nordea as a Top 10 employer in this survey for several years.

According to CV.ee, a key takeaway from this year’s survey is that it takes time to build a strong employer reputation. Based on feedback from more than 10,000 respondents, the results underline that employer branding is not shaped by individual campaigns or single years, but by steady effort, consistency and ongoing investment in people.

Tiina Käsi, Country Senior Executive for Nordea in Estonia.

“I’m really proud of this recognition. It means a lot because it comes directly from people appreciating our culture, ways of interaction and other colleagues. A strong employer reputation isn’t built overnight – it grows through trust and genuine care for how people experience their daily work."

"We’re pleased to see that this resonates in Estonia and take it as motivation to keep investing in our people and in the future we’re building,” says Tiina Käsi, Country Senior Executive for Nordea in Estonia.

How we engage to build a strong culture

At Nordea in Estonia, we focus every day on supporting employee wellbeing, learning, and leadership development, enabling career growth across roles and borders and maintaining an inclusive and flexible work environment.

We work actively with diversity and inclusion. We have signed the Diversity Charters and were recognised last year for our work on equal pay.

We bring our values to life through the partnerships we support, including Pride  and the Employers Against Domestic Abuse initiative in Estonia. Alongside this, we engage with students and future talent through universities and career fairs, and contribute to local communities through initiatives such as the Estonian Foodbank and financial literacy classes in schools – all part of our efforts to create a strong and inclusive workplace.
