A safe start in Sweden – Nordea part of broad collaboration for refugees from Ukraine
The initiative A safe start in Sweden has been launched to assist those fleeing from Ukraine to Sweden. Nordea is one of the organisations behind this initiative.
Nordea has now signed diversity charters in Denmark, Estonia, Finland, Norway, Sweden and Poland, joining over 12,000 signatories in a push for more diverse workplaces.
According to the annual European gender diversity study, the number of women in executive positions continues to grow. In gender diversity comparison, Nordea is ranked 2nd in the Nordics and 8th in Europe.

Nordea co-founder of UN Principles for Responsible Banking
The Principles for Responsible Banking marked the beginning of the most significant partnership to date between the banking industry and the UNEP FI. The principles aim to align the financial sector with the UN Sustainable Development Goals and the Paris Climate Agreement.
